I guess I'll return back to the old (3.10) version of arc witch.
With the 3.11 build I've experienced an abnormal loss of damage (about one half of DPS) and the complete lack of mana self-sustain.
The little gain in survivability is completely not sufficient to justify this new build, considering that you will still die to big hits or just because your mana won't regenerate as fast as you expect and you will not even be able to cast a flame dash.

I truly acknowledge Enki's efforts. Arc witch is my first and only character in this game, and this guide has always helped me a lot. But this time I would not recommend it.

Are you using Kitava's Teachings? I found that it completely solved my issues with mana sustain.

No need of Kitava since I already have a wand with "Trigger a socketed spell" to proc Desecrate and Bone Offering

Kitava's Teachings is ideal because it restores 5% of your life and mana every second which is amazing for general sustain. The property of it counting as consuming a corpse is useful, but not why it's used.

Also consider that the ascendancy node Corpse Pact increases your cast speed for each corpse you consume in the past four seconds. You're probably not quite capping out on that passive even with Trigger a socketed spell, so more methods of consuming corpses at once can't hurt.

Hello, ive been following this guide, first time around ive acctually made it to the endgame and im enjoying the game alot.
The guide is insanly detailed and so helpful to new players like me to acctually learn about the key mechanics of the game step by step.

I would like to see if anyone would like to give me some feedback on what gear to upgrade or gems to become even stronger now in endgame.

Is this spec viable to do high maps etc? or is there another guide which would be more suitable to do high end endgame?

hello,im begginer.
I started this game the other day.
I have a quick question.
In Act 4 it says "‣ Get Cast when Damage taken, then get Wave of Conviction from Siosa" but I can't attach Cast when Damage taken because I don't have enough STR.
I would like to know how to solve this problem if you can help me.

The easiest way at that point is to get either an amulet or a belt with a lot of strenght on it. Alternatively you can pick up the 30 STR node on the akilltree next to elemental overload until you get enough strength on your items.
Modified the tree to put mana cluster and healthy mind
Modified Orb of storm setup with curse on hit , conductivity and culling strike

Great clear speed in T16 ,boss fight it's ok but can have mana issue if the fight is too long
Just kill my first Sirus awakening 5

My stuff :

What do you think about it ?

Level 88 now and getting through yellow maps ok, but push towards red maps is getting somewhat tough. I had to get someone to help me with 2-stone Drox because I just did not have enough DPS to kill him flags, adds, and break through his shield.

I've sunk a decent amount of chaos into the build now (~100?) but I'm wondering how much scaling is possible with this short of going super deep into it (multiple EX)?

I think most of your gear are ok, just get them as in the guide, Life, Mana, and Resists.

- For your wand you should 3 link it and put spell cascade as 3rd link so you can spawn 10 corpses instead of 5. You could always get more mana and better damage affixes if you have the currencies.

-Helmet is pretty good you can try to aim for the same stats additionally with the crusader affix which gives you % increased mana.

-You definitely want increase to maximum life on your shield, rest stats are good as it is, you could always get resistances from other gears so you can get some damage affixes on your shield as well.

-Amulet you would to have increased to maximum life as well.

-Body armour is good, eventually you want to get increased effect to offerings as said in the guide.

-Try to get life and mana regeneration on your rare ring.

-gloves are ok, could always get higher mana and resistances though

-For the belt you can go for a stygian vise so you can put an abyss jewel, and same as everything just aim for higher life, mana, and resistances.

-boots are good, could try to get a two-toned boots for more resistances so you can get better damage affixes elsewhere.

This build certainly works well in the endgame and complete all the contents just because how forgiving this build is.

I'm having some issues with this build when it comes to large hits, especially hits I can't easily anticipate or avoid. This build works excellently against constant damage, but if you get hit with something that does a ton of damage at once then it'll rip straight through Mind over Matter and your HP and you'll just die. Hits like Izaro's and Argus' slam are big culprits here, but other issues are things like porcupines; you can't just take them one by one since we're playing Arc. If you kill one of them, chances are they'll all die and then you have a barrage of needles coming at you that's likely to kill you even with a Granite flask active. Because of this, I've been hard stuck at level 88; I've been able to do T16 maps and the four Atlas bosses (Crusader, Hunter, Redeemer, Warlord) easily enough is the thing; my damage is through the roof but this build just can't handle large hits and it's not good for my mental health.

Here's my build info:

Here's my passive tree, and here's my Path of Building.

If you don't want to look at those the main takeaways are the following;

- I'm currently using both Mind over Matter and The Agnostic
- I currently have a bit over 4,600 life and just under 5,300 mana (4906 unreserved)
- All of my resistances are maxed out besides Chaos (which is at -48%); dying to Chaos damage does happen to me but that's at least understandable compared to other sources
- I have three jewels; Kitava's Teachings, a jewel that gives 6% increased maximum life and 15% increased mana regen, and a jewel that gives +38 to life and +32 to mana
- I have my left click (movement) bound to Detonate since I'm using Smoke Mine over Flame Dash for movement due to preference. I've heard once or twice about using Arcane Cloak on left click to increase uptime but I'm not sure if this is better than having direct control over when it procs.

Looking over the build myself, I'm unsure of what to do besides path to the jewel socket at the left side of the tree (I'll have it in two levels), and socket another +life and +mana jewel. Leveling, however, has been a bit difficult because of this issue.

If anyone has any advice that'd help I'd be appreciative.

I mean you could certainly get more life on some of your gears like your shield and rings. You should definitely get trigger a socketed spell on your wand, it will make your life so much easier to take care of stuff.

Sure this build is tanky but that does not mean you can just face tank everything, i mean sure you can do once you got more life but Izaro and Argus's skills are really not that hard to dodge out of the way using movements.

Another reason we want arcane cloak to be constantly up especially when we have high mana and high mana regenration is because it can give you a huge shield. Rn i am at 7.1k unreserved mana and it can give my 4.5k shield, even when you are not at full mana you can have a 2-3k shield which would really help you with big hits.

As for porcupines, you can just your orb of storm then run away, or you use arc then quickly flame dash or whatever movement skill you use. I know that sometimes porcupines can really catch you by surprise because you are just in a constant mode of arc and move and not looking at the mobs you are killing. But porcupines only appear frequently in certain maps like orchard, garden, terrace, and some dungeon maps like vaal pyrimad/temple. So when you are in those maps just pay extra attention and remember there could be porcupines and I should be careful

Overall big hits are meant for you to dodge them and not face tank them. So you should just get more life and mana, try to keep arcane cloak up as much as possible with your playstyle, and just pay more attention to whats happening.
