How do you gain frenzy? I have frenzy on one of my attacks.
You say you use Herald of Ice to take over? I don't understand that. I'll PM you. Have made a lot of changes and have attack up quite a bit but DPS still a long way off yours. I'm disappointed over the skill tree as I still think mine (apart from DeadEye) is very similar to yours. Should success of the game be down to being exactly the same? I hadn't appreciated the reliance on flasks at later stages and will take your advice. However, again we are similar as my life flasks are bleeding and poison immunity. Does it matter that much whether it is silver flask etc? The bets flask is definitely Vessel of Vinktar. Awesome. However, I watched your video and all your flasks were empty so you seem to barely use them. Is that correct? also what was the red circle above your head - Vaal Haste? I will PM you. Your advice and time has been excellent. Just managed to do lvl 12 Shipyard corrupted which I haven't been able to do before. Just bough Belly of the Beast as well. I just have to chip in to your conversation and say that you both have helped me alot aswell.
I find myself in a similar situation as David. With alot of quiestionmarks regarding passive points and gear. I am level 85. And with all buffs activated I have 20k tooltip dps on my lightning arrow. My understanding is that my bow is a big factor in my overall dps. I've glanced through poe.trade and I believe I've found a few suitable upgrades. How much difference would a 6L bow with 50% increased Critical Strike Chance 167% increased Physical Damage +8 to Dexterity 34% increased Critical Strike Chance +118 to Accuracy Rating Adds 15 to 28 Physical Damage Compared to my A rough estimate would be more than fine for me. I just want to know how big of a difference various items do. That bow is a bit out of my league now anyway since it is being listed for 4ex, and I can maybe get 2ex right now. |

I found it cheaper and easier to get body armour with 6L (or 5L if that helps). Bows with 6L are stupid money. I've just sacrificed 6L armour for Belly of the Beast which was only 5L. I will therefore lose 30% elemental damage which is the gem I was using.
5 and 6 L help a lot as you can setup to do a lot more damage. It's also useful if you have a blue link as sometimes I swapped to a "get x% more Rare items" gem when I wanted to go shopping. Everyone has recommended Harbinger bows as they have critical strike attached. Other bows recommended Lioneye's Glare as it has a high Attacks Per Second. That's very useful. If you get a Harbinger try and up teh attacks per second. Mine is 1.32. Zuletzt bearbeitet von Davidjb#0914 um 03.02.2017, 10:35:17

" Kintsugi is better then Belly of the Beast. Perfect Belly of the Beast adds <300 life to 4000 life base. Kintsugi give 20% less damage. If you take 5000 shot, its like 5000-20%=4000. So if you receive hits no more than once in 4 seconds, Kintsugi effect like +1000 life to 4000 life base. But DOT destroys Kintsugi synergy. Hyrri's Ire looks nice with maximum dodge. The Perfect Form + free Arctic Armour + Iron Reflexes + Grace is interesting. Cospri's Will with Enfeeble + Temporal Chains theoretically greatly enhance the survival. Actually no one tests new armors. Some one even use outdated Lightning Coil )) Zuletzt bearbeitet von Max_ak#2633 um 03.02.2017, 11:36:53

Yeah for sure.
But I already have a 5L body armour. What would be the most beneficial then? Buy a 6L body armour for atleast 2ex, or a 6L bow for 4ex? |

" This is biased and incorrect analysis though. Belly increases total life pool. Evasion is only chance to evade melee and ranged attacks. Spells always hit, except when you factor in Dodge. If you fight a pack of sparker skeletons you risk losing the bonus immediately. If you fight Piety beam, you risk losing the bonus immediately. If you ever try to do Core Malachi you risk losing the bonus immediately. Honestly the only shit in this game that can actually kill you are the stuff that Evasion and Dodge fail to do a lot, like Volatiles. So no, Kintsugi doesn't increase your life pool. Increasing your life pool increases your life pool. I'll be testing Perfect Form after the league ends. Cospri doesn't fit this build though, that's a whole other genre of archer. @David: Frenzy comes from the Raider Ascendancy. I hate Blood Rage but you can use that. Herald of Ice, every time you shatter an enemy (read: Crit) a small explosion of Ice occurs. This can be linked with Curse on Hit and Assassin's Mark for auto-curse. No need to use another attack for it.
And yeah, Raider incredibly strong right now especially for mid tier content like shown in the videos. Just the way things work. In 2.2 a 6-Point Deadeye Tree was really strong. In 2.3+ imo Pathfinder was god with 8-Point tree. Deadeye has remained the same as Raider gets buffs so now Raider is insane too. " is there any Kintsugi mechanics explanation since it's too foggy. |
|
" MM. When you take 4999 shot with Kintsugi and 4000 life it can save you. When you take 4999 shot with Belly and 4300 life it cant save you. It is all the mechanics in a nutshell. http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Kintsugi 20% less Damage taken if you have not been Hit Recently (Recently = 4 seconds) |
