" It's fine. " That was a quick solution for your problem. Reach of The Council is very nice bow, but it costs at least couple exalts. I found it very difficult to determine whether rare Harbinger bow is better than Lioneye without actually buying it, so I can't recommend buying one. A Harbinger with better dps than 1 chaos Lioneye costs a lot. " I like that ring, nice life and resists. The upgrade you're looking for is that same ring but with flat physical damage to attacks. It scales wonderfully with this build. Of course it costs a lot. " First of all, don't level gems with intelligence and strength requirements too much. The upside is getting slightly better skill and downside is gimping your gear since you now need to get +str and +int on it. Finding a good amulet without +30 int is a lot easier than finding that same amulet with +30 int. That being said, it's easiest to get +int on amulet and rings, since those slots don't have requirements. If you get +int on boots or gloves, those need +int to wear and are energy shield based (instead of evasion, which you want). Strength is quite easy to get on belt and since you get some life from strength, it's not completely null stat. You can also get +int from jewels. Try to find +damage (+physical damage, +attack speed, +physical damage with bows, etc) OR +6-7% life jewel with +int. Or alternatively if you have enough +int, get additional resists. Those are cheap. I recommend you buy new gems. Check the int and str requirements for each level from wiki and buy accordingly. You really don't want those +30 str/int nodes in the end, so try to build around that. About quality: don't worry about those yet. One quality costs around one chaos so it's a lot better to invest that currency to gear at this point. If you happen to find quality gem or someone sells it for low price, go for it. But don't spend too much on those. |

What do you guys think about Slivertongue Bow?
Hey guys, looking for some advice. Currently level 80 and dying quite a bit. Any suggestions on what to link in the gloves? The amulet is bad but I need it for the stats...

I finally managed to beat Uber lab today (got oneshot by Izaro on last phase twice a few days ago, that damn Wind Slash, which was very discouraging). And holy crap I'm blown away by the single target damage boost that Rupture provides - it basically doubled (or more) my DPS against bosses. Killed the three Courtyard bosses in about 3 seconds when I struggled with them before because they hit pretty hard.

hi, I'm thinking to buy a 5L harbinger as a start at lv 68. I have 2 choices, one with phys dmg 2 ele dmg and with 2 resists , another phys dmg with ele dmg. I'm thinking of mastercrafting with either bow but cannot decide if % physical dmg or crit chance is better.
Please advice. IGN : Sixthus (essence)

Why WED over Added Fire Dmg? AFD Boosts dps a lot more!
" WED boosts dps more if you are doing 100% elemental damage. My dps in hideout without those gems or any boosts is 25k. If I put Added Fire Damage (level 19, 0% quality), it goes to 32k. If I put WED (level 20, 12% quality) instead, it goes to 41k. I do 50% lightning damage, 50% fire damage. Some scraps of cold damage. |
" Don't bother with a Harbinger at this point. Buy a Lioneye's Glare for 1 chaos - to get a Harbinger with equivalent DPS you'll need to shelf out at least 15C and it will not be good enough to do the highest content anyway so you'll replace either down the line. I'm currently saving up for Reach of the Council which costs a whopping 4 ex in Essence. Concerning WED vs Added Fire Damage: this depends on how much conversion you have, but you don't need a lot of it for WED to become better. As soon as you have Physical to Lightning, WED will outdamage AFD, and the gap will only increase with every source of elemental damage you have (The Signal Fire quiver, Hatred aura, Herald of Flame aura...). This is mostly due to the fact that WED is a "more" multiplier that affects all of that damage while AFD only adds based on your physical damage, which tends to be about 20% of your total damage at most. |

Hey
you made a little mistake in your guide at BLAST RAIN. You wrote CONC in green, but it's a blue support gem. As a new player I made a mistake in buying an item. Of course i should have checked before. But anyway Thanks you for this guide, it has been a great pleasure for me to try it and i learned a lot. |
