I am a little embarrassed to be asking this but here goes. Is there a good summary or FAQ of what exactly will happen with the launch of Ascendancy? I am assuming there will be brand new challenge leagues, both softcore and hardcore with a virgin economy. All Talisman characters will flow to their parent leagues either standard or hardcore. Will I be able to play my current SC Talisman Ranger with the ascendancy content on standard or should I be planning on re-rolling a new character?

Just trying to mentally prepare for the grind of starting fresh if that is in fact the case and I want to check out the new content.

Correct, this current league will end, and Perandus league will start. You can play all characters, regardless of league, in all of the Ascendancy content, outside of Perandus league content. If you're wanting to experience all of the new content/additions of just the expansion(the Labyrinth, trials, etc), you can stay in Standard. If you want all of that AND the new Perandus goodies, you'll need to start fresh. :)

Ascendancy is not a league. It is a small expansion which is available for both permanent and temporary league characters. Perandus leagues and the Perandus coins are only available in the temporary leagues. So yes - you can try out ascendancy classes in standard league with your current character.

4L = Vaal Grace / Vaal Haste + Inc. Dur. + Blood Rage + Faster Casting

CoH setup more or less rules out Faster attack linked to your Blink Arrow, while it is more optimal with a simple herald of ash setup.

You should never use Tornado shot in her split phase. That is a train heading straight to fail-town x)

Something like this but a Ranger start just looks flat out better. Maybe it is just because I am more used to make Ranger passive setups.

Hi all,

I started playing this game like 5-6 months ago and by then Tornado shot was the real thing, i always wanted to play the build but i never believed i will survive because i was pretty new and i play always hardcore.

So i instead play Lame totem or incinerate or that kind of semi boring staff ( i hate totems now).

Now i am a little bit more experienced and i want to try an evasion build, and since i always wanted to try tornado shot i though... ok is time to ascend with TS!

I have checked the guide and i like a lot the defensive tree with 205% life and phase acro, but since ascendancy change things and you can go duelist fortify i dont know if it is better to adjust that tree to duelist and play like that.
The issue is that i feel like our early game if we start on duelist is terrible, is my feeling true?

ALso when we talk about auras, i find difficult to decide between grace of hatred, sometimes sruvive is a matter of killing fast instead of been tanky, so even if is hardcore and i am still learning the game... will hatred be better?



Did you recommend me a different class?


I am also a little bit concern about the fact than on some previous pages people were telling that they get a lot of times one shotted... since i want to face ascendancy hardcore... is this TS build viable or shall i change my mind?

Also since i am still a newb and dont know very well the market i have some concerns aboout gearing up. On previous messages i find that some poster have issue with their DPS when they reach tier 5-6 maps and onwards... is gear hard to get for this build? sall i change to a more affordable build? shall i kneel to the boredom of caustic arrow?

Sorry for the wall of text, like all of you im super hyped and really want to play TS, I want this to be my first 100 char.

PD_ ALso i will be no lifing weekend and monday so if someone feels like giving me advice during the league that would be awesome.

If i end up going ts i will try to share my progress with you.
