" Well like i said the reason for your accuracy-problem is not having flat accuracy on gear, which means %-nodes are even less useful. You should try to get at least 300 acc on gear, better up to 500. With str/int it's pretty much the same: You should just gain more from your gear, than you actually do. Plus lvl20 curse on hit, which you should really run needs with 111 even more int, than the 98 you have been talking about. |

makes sense , didn't know gear accuracy is more than the nodes. you are right i do need 111 int.
Though what baffles me is does HOA linked to assassin mark work when you are running hatred.. Domine Non Es Dignus

Hello,
I have 2 questions. 1) What gems you advise to use until 38 lvl (TS min requirements)? 2) Is Skyforth good for this build? |
|
" Well you have always pretty much 2 options for assassins mark: To cast it yourself with splitarrow, coh and chain or to run coh with herald of ice or thunder. Herald of ash works of course only with the first option. I would recommand to use the second option anyway, which means hoa out, hoi in. About acc: That's not really the right way to say it, but if your total amount of flat acc is kind of lowish, then - of course - % acc doesn't really help a lot as well, because the base is just too low. just checked. HOA doesn't proc when running hatred because hatred + crits shatters... which does not cause the ignite/burn effect of HOA to proc
incidentally Me running Hatre+ HOI generated power charges and made my dps go up by 5K Hatred+ HOA - 95k dps with frenzy charges Hatred+ HOI- 101k dps with frenzy + 3 power charges.. either going by dps or synergy with shatter i think HOI does give more dps than HOA ( standalone ) Domine Non Es Dignus Zuletzt bearbeitet von Zinja#5231 um 08.02.2016, 01:59:04

" You are too focused on paper-dps anyway. It's not only about the power charges, it's about the curse itself. Assassins mark gives 9% more crit, and it really means 9% more and not 9% of your basecrit, plus they receive a lot more damage from critical strikes. The paper-dps won't show this at all, cause it's a debuff, but this is really, really huge! Btw cause the guide kind of lacks this information as well: Assassins mark is the only way to go over the 95% critcap, - if you got min. 91% with charges up you'll actually have 100% critchance. But before acc comes into play: First time roled to check if you actually hit and then a second time to check if your crit hits, - which is why acc is so important, because it's roled 2 times for critting. It works pretty much like this to really crit: Hit (acc)? yes, crit (critchance)? yes, crithit (acc)? yes Zuletzt bearbeitet von basta1982#7340 um 08.02.2016, 01:55:05

I need an advice, i hesitate about two options :
Hatred + HOA + HOI (auto curse AA) and Alpha's Howl. or Hatred + HOI and Rat's Nest. It's like to choose between flat dps increase (HOA) and CC (Rat's)... :( |
|
" Rats Nest has a lot more to offer than just crit. Attack and movement speed are big as well. Imho it's probably one of the most powerful items in relation to it's costs. - So even though i know some people like Alphas a lot, i would always go for Rats Nest. |
|
" Question is, with my setup, does it worth to lose HOA and HA for RN ? That's the point. Zuletzt bearbeitet von valraukar7#4404 um 08.02.2016, 05:55:31

" How is this any different to the question in general? The question you are asking is, if another herald + alphas is better than rats nest, or? And i'd say no. It was quite clear to me that you are talking about having less mana reserved to get another permabuff, because... well that is what is alphas made for.
