What gems you use with Lightning Arrow and Puncture and which tree?

This guide was extremely helpful

I am using the Standard aggresive Tree and the jewels that are recommended for LA and Puncture at Page 1 ^^'

Damage is fine, even with my shitty 280 dps bow... but i also have problems with tier 10 up bosses, they kill me most times ^^'

Ok, i`m using frenzy atm, found it more usefull with 4L than Puncture(dont have 2nd 5L atm).
About bosses, well depends on a boss, with my 320dps Lioneye`s Glare i`m simply crushing most of bosses in maps around tier 9-11, except that totem in volcano map.

Atm lvl 84, 4.1k hp, around 15k dps 5L(with chain)LA with 7 frenzy and 3 power charges, and around 40k with frenzy.

Hmmm have 4,1 k hp too my tooltip says 17 k dps for LA and 50 k hp for puncture (Frenzy got me 60 k dps) at max charges
But i'm feeling that puncture hits the bosses much harder, sometimes i shot only one arrow and the bleeding does the rest, im surprised how fast that kills bosses... i think slower projectiles makes it so strong, if you got a 5 L you should try it ^^

Hmm for example today i encountered the boss of crematory (tier 11) and died so fast in his fire rain ^^' or how you said yesterday i played a volcano map with temporal chains, no chance against the badass totem :D

Yeah, Puncture starts to shine with 5L or 6L, if you dont have that, in my opinion its crap.
About that boss in crematorium, she is rather easy, just run around her and fire and try to avoid meteors.
I just cleared that map with two bosses.

Hmmm not bad :D Yeah i will try that next time, today iam gambling with tier 6 maps cause no better map drops :( XD

But i ask myself, when should i use Atziris Promise? When i get chaos dmg?

I've been using lightning arrow like you suggested and have been happy with my clear speed but my single-target damage has been lacking

tool-tip for lightning arrow is 9k(guess I still need to level gem a lot more) and puncture is 24k before frenzy charges.

I don't know what you are expecting, this is my first char in poe endgame so i have no other builds/classes to compare. I have atm at lvl 90, 50k dps with puncture (7 frenzy charges, 3 power) seems not to bad for me. And the bosses die really fast... for tier 7 mine boss i need ~ 5 - 10 seconds, dominus on t9 residence on the other side survives much longer...

Why don't I see any mention of picking up Charisma (three points with your 'Augmented' skill tree) to run AA?

Fits nicely in a 4L and Lighting Arrow only 'needs' 5 links (Lightning Arrow/Chain/GMP/PPAD/WED) so you get to stick on PCoC for almost free.

Also I'm fairly sure skipping Revenge of the Hunted (2.5% life/point) & picking up the two jewel sockets next to Vaal Pact & Blood Drinker is a better investment.
Possibly in combination with the above suggestion.
