Perverse Osmosis - the thinking man's loot filter - is a general-purpose item filter designed to strike a good balance between information density and visual clutter while staying completely true to the game's default color palette. The filter makes no presumption about the value of any item in how it displays loot (apart from hiding gear below a base-type rare), instead just clarifying the innate properties of the item itself.
