Closed browser and Skype and it worked.
Though before I tried closing the browser and it did nothing, so here is my advice. 1. Close Browser 2. Close Skype (If open) 3. Run as administrator 4. ???? 5. Profit! |

None of these makeshift solutions gives a permanent fix unfortunately.

have trouble connecting as well..
comcast PA, USA its definitely not on my isp's side because i checked my connection and i can play other games. it takes several tries before it'll load the game and then i cant login at all. |

I've been complaining and whining all day long but eventually it will work, as it did for me after a couple of tries during the day and then, two tries this evening and BAM instantly opened the PoE wine, which never occured before that the wine overrun the launcher.

Sorry for the delay in fixing this.
There were some DDoS attacks against some of our patching and login servers last night, so we had to put them behind a DDoS mitigation firewall. We left the firewall on overnight in case the DDoS continued/started back up - but it seems that the firewall was getting some false positives for some legitimate traffic (like some patching/login server requests). This should now be resolved, and we are taking measures to make sure that any future DDoS attempts have less impact on our servers. |
