Hello, I no longer have access to the email that the account it attached to. I just need to change the email, however when I used the change email feature it said that it sent it to my current email, which I thought would be my new email, however I didn't receive such an email I'm guessing it was sent to my old email address? Could you please help me with this request? Thanks in advance.

I think you can change email without checking the old one, because if that would be possible, you could steal any account just knowing the email.
For this reason, I assume you are not able to change the email without accesing the old one: just security. IGN: Gonorreitor

I completely understand the logic behind such security measures. However, I don't have access to the hotmail account that my PoE account is attached to anymore. It was hacked, I can't log into it, and I can't use the automated "get your account back feature" that hotmail provides. I tried calling to talk to someone, however they won't even let you talk them if you're not a paying customer.

I can log into my account, I have my password, but if something were to happen in the future, I would be screwed as I don't have access to that email account anymore. So to prevent further headache for me, and if something goes wrong in the future to further bother the staff, I would just like to be safe and change my email now so I don't have to deal with it then.
