What about "Armor" lowers movement speed?

Does the armor Value lower movement speed?

or does the Armor when equipped on the character, lower movement speed?


for example, Could I stack evasion gear with Iron reflexes and bypass the armor-movement speed reduction?

or would i still need to put a point in "Armour Master" to bypass the movement reduction?

It also effects the shield penalty, so no move speed penalty from any armour or shield type.

Most chest-piece gear (besides Assassin's Garb) reduces movement speed by a base amount. Shields do too.
