How to proxy play Path of Exile?!

This is ridiculous! I can't play with 150 ping. It was acceptable until merciless but in this difficulty, because of the big delay, i die a lot of times. My friend that lives a few blocks from me has 30 ping but a different net provider (which oddly enough, is rated a LOT worse than mine).

So, can someone please explain to me how to use a proxy for PoE? I've tried http://battleping.com/ but it doesn't work with PoE. I've also tried http://www.proxifier.com/ but i just wasn't able to connect the launcher to the update server. HELP PLEASE!!!

i'm not really sure what services as battleping offer as it puts a additional router (or hop in network terms) between you and your game provider.

this service is only helpful if your provider has some weird routing contracts with other providers which prolongs the paket travel distance between your computer an the PoE-Server.

Have you already tried to change your PoE-server selection on the starting screen?
