Caverns of Anger/ Merveil Bugged?

So i joined a group a little while ago, and they decided to kill Merveil while i was in town. when i got back into the dungeon, he was dead but i didnt finish the quest. so i decided to go back to town and just reset the dungeon and redo it myself. when i reset the dungeon, only cavern of wrath (the first lvl) is reset. i clear everything and when i get to caverns of anger (the second lvl), everything is already cleared, including Merveil inside his lair. i can't seem to reset caverns of anger or merveils lair. and since i cant reset it and kill him, i can't move on with any of my quests. does anyone have any ideas on what i should do?

Wait for about 15 minutes before moving on to the caverns of anger. The instance (area) should reset after that much time has passed.

Control and Left Click the White Transition Area to Anger and reset the instance manually.

ctrl-click also works when selecting zones from the waypoint, although in this case you would have had to portal to the start of the caverns and descend again.

I can't even enter the Cavern of Anger. It loads for abit and then brings me back to the login screen. Wtf?
