Feedback on the updated Ritualist Ascendancy talents
" No feedback this remains the most interesting part of the kit " This is OK but very narrow. There are a few ways to squeeze value out of this, but as an ascendancy point it's pretty meh. That area of the tree is more concentrated on ES/Evasion so while it can be worked with, it's pretty weak compared to other ascendancies' defensive talents. Doesn't really provide an interesting choice as a result. " Very good, if extra charm slot is intended as "troll" ascendancy talent (similar to how I view extra inventory on Titan). If intention to provide "troll" (useless) point on the way to super strong point this works. If the intention of extra charm slot is to be useful then yeah, it's totally useless. And who cares about extra charm charges? It's a dumb thing to have, given that the very next ascendancy makes it mostly irrelevant. Waste of ascendancy on the way to super strong talent is what it is. " Played with this extensively this season. Extra duration is NOT ENOUGH to make this a late game ascendancy. It simply takes too long to sacrifice corpses. SUGGESTION 1 - corpses should be consumed by STEPPING on them This preserves the idea of collecting modifier from corpses while providing a compelling endgame replacement (with far longer duration) for headhunter. As it currently is, it's better to go ritualist and STILL EQUIP HEADHUNTER. Imagine going to temple or even juiced t15 and having to spend 3 seconds per each elite while being vulnerable at the same time. Complete inting. Early maps / campaign this is decent but still very meh at best. It looks to be a nood trap where perceived speed gains after sacrificing the corpse are offset by how long it takes to collect the corpses and sacrifice them. SUGGESTION 2 - self sacrifice should give 2 modifiers. May be even 3. Yeah this makes it much stronger for bossing, but in mapping scenarios it doesn't make big difference as it's possible to run with 20-25 mods easy so extra couple isn't very strong. " This is pretty situational, as it loses out on clear speed to a lot of pure clear abilities, but it's a situationally good talent that is probably not going to be picked most of the time since it's utterly useless against bosses which usually present the biggest challenge for most builds. In other words, majority of builds dont have any issues clearing white mobs, and have more issues killing bosses. So while I like this and there are certainly interesting uses I end up not picking it most of the time, but this ascendancy is really well designed and it's good at what it's intended to do, so I dont really see any big reason for further buffs or changes.
