Not 100% sure about that but it should along with your league characters, standard players might help better than me.

Why bother, gold it's not worth it as long as trades don't have taxes!

It's suppose to transfer yes.
I had once the case where it didnt and seen other players complaining of it too. I believe it was a bug cause i didnt have problems with my other migrations. SSF player

I think gold is attached to account. And probably to league so after transfering to stnadard it should go with all things from league.

" They're making new character and just play there. I did it too in 0.2 cause i had no idea what was a league first time i played. Than as i only play SSF since 1st playtrough i tough "whatever" and only swapped in 0.3. I adapt my toons there after every update to fix them and sometimes i play them but rarely now. My friend have very few time to play so i told him we'll play in standard (he cant finish campaign in 4 months i mean) and at first i tought i missclicked league instead of standard because it was so crowded in towns. SSF player
