GPU optimizations for 0.5?

We got cpu optimizations in 0.4 which is really nice but personally i never felt like that was a problem even on my mid-range pc, the game runs fine most of the time the only problem i have is when there are too many monsters on screen like in abyss and certain maps like Scorched Farmlands, it's very noticeable how the gpu goes from 9~11ms to 18~20ms in these scenarios, dynamically lowering the resolutions to keep the constant 60fps

I feel like the game could deliver a better performance in these specific cases
