bugged lost item

Hi and good evening,

I was trading my chestplate with my friend and in the trade i cancel it couse i want to check if it was the correct torso because i got 2 of the same kind and it dissapear without a message like "item deleted" "trade succesfull"..
it just left "trade canceled" and it dissapear.. plz check this out im new player and that kept me back... thanks for your time
