Game Won't Progress, Instance Not Resetting

I am currently at act 4 and just beat tavakai. I beat him a little fast. However, during the scene where i'm supposed to witness the hooded one cure tavakai and his daughter, my game got stuck and it won't progress further. I've tried respawning at the last checkpoint but it's not working. I've also let the instance reset and even after hours of not opening the game, the instance stayed the same and i can't progress any further. The quest is back to "Find Tavakai", but when I go to him, he's not there and won't spawn.

fixed, i dont know if it's what did it but I verified integrity of game files on steam and when i opened the game, it was fixed
