Simple change to make towers feel way better in endgame.

Hi GGG, Towers have come a long way so far in Path of Exile 2.
You have done a great job improving how we interact with then, and how they influence the end game.

Currently there is no benefit to running higher tier maps in towers. I think this is a huge missed opportunity.

The harder map you run, and the higher tier should have some impact on the endgame atlas.

My suggestion is that for every tier of map, you add a 2% larger radius to the tower.
Tier 1 waystones get no bonuses, but when you slam in a tier 15 waystone, bam! 30% wider area of effect. Maybe give Tier 16 maps an extra 5% bonus on top.

Then for each modifier on the map run in the tower, give a 2% bonus to explicit modifiers on waystones or tablets run within the radius of the tower. Cap the bonus, (And state it clearly to players) so that only one tower buff can effect each node so players never feel fomo from missing out on multiple tower setups, and only the highest tower bonus is applied.

Thank you for your time, and I hope you have a great day. :)

After dozens of useless topics about sekhmas and temples, something useful at last.

Interesting idea.

Thanks mate. It's very easy to get frustrated with this game, i've been there many times. But with a few simple tweaks I reckon PoE2 can be one of the best games out there.

One of the added benefits to this would be making traversing the atlas much simpler the further you advance your character. Expanding the reach of Grand Project tablets and adding just a little bit of juice to the current systems final power.

Anyway mate, I hope you enjoy your day and good luck out there in your adventures :)
Pretty cool suggestion actually
Mash the clean
So when you first get to mapping you get no tower benefits? You can't think that every player is just running T16 at league start. Towers are fine. End game has no chase.

After the new effectiveness changes this league, personally I like running t10 maps. My main character is an ice strike monk, which I've really struggled to actually make insane so I get where you're coming from.

I can't run tier 16 maps, just like you said, I'm in that group. Haha I'm a bit of a noob, right? But I'd still like some benefit from running higher tier towers as my character pushes through each little breakpoint.

Anyway hope you have a good night mate :)

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by endgame has no chase?

To me the current endgame lacks goals and a sense of progression. This is why I liked the temple so much, it takes weeks to "max it out" and every step is meaningful with scaling challenge and rewards. It rly made me min-max my build and keep improving it, while on T16 maps any half decent build can just breeze trough all content (maybe exept ultra juiced abyss/deli setups)

Haha, maybe that's my problem, I farm abyss/deli setups :'). You still get Omen of light and abyssal echoes on tier10 though so I don't mind if that's where I stay until my character hits another breakpoint.

The temple IS incredibly fun to build though, I'll give you that. I loved the design and the sense of progression you get from seeing things unfold as you build it room by room. For the first time though, I'm getting that same sense of progression from mapping. That first Omen of light drop was incredible, and slowly seeing my character flesh out as I craft better gear each time.

I'm playing on the second wind server, so trade is incredibly limited. For the first time I can't necessarily just find exactly what I need in trade, so I had to learn how to craft. I've probably wasted like 5 omens of light just trying to build a much better quarterstaff. But I tell you what! I think this is the most fun I've had in any of the leagues so far!

Really changes your perspective of the game, I'd highly recommend it.
