0.4 Feedback - The Temple was GREAT in all forms

I started this league with a Druid Shaman using Calamity, Slam and Stampede. Cleared most of the content and got it to level 96.
For the second character I went for Mercenary/Bow architecture combination, because I neither played Mercenary, nor Bows yet. Focused mostly on quick mapping and temple learning/farming with this one and got it to level 98. Atlas To me the atlas was and still is fun to explore. All the changes to the tower/tablets are very good - less management and crafting needed in between farming maps. The Tablets are very fun and rewarding. I'm still missing more randomness on the atlas map - more variety of unique maps and other content encounters (like Moment of Zen) The biomes could be bigger - I would love a full screen of snow maps. More usage of the biomes would also be great (like the node Local Knowledge). Better visibility and orientation/movement on the atlas map. To me a toggleable "minimap" or a simplified 2D top-down view would greatly improve the Atlas UX. Mapping / Density changes I always prefer a slower combat because it means less clutter, which in turn means better visibility and this opens up the option for more skill based combat. With that I enjoy the density changes and still think the pack sizes could be even smaller. I do feel that Abyss and Breach density is still just too large. Crafting Crafting gets better with every league. One point I feel lacks is the "Greater" and "Perfect" currency; it feels really lazy and makes most of the "vanilla" currency useless pretty quickly into the endgame. I hope those are just as a placeholder to make crafting better at this moment of early access and will be removed in the future. The Temple It was great while leveling for the quick boosts to the gear and love the "forced" crafting. I hope that every league is abundant with this kind of "learn crafting" rewards. In the endgame it is very fun. It was great before all the buffs and it was great just the same after the nerf to the locking. At least for me, the patch changes did not change my enjoyment of this mechanic. For the loot I would say that it either gets too rewarding too fast, or it should be harder to get to the stage where it gets so rewarding. One thing that I hope gets changed once the temple goes core is being able to make the Atziri fight more difficult. We want Uber Atziri! All in all it is a great new addition to the game and a good endgame alternative to the mapping. Bonus I would like to praise the Arastas/Twilight Order design. That aesthetic, the purple/gold design is sooooo well done. As it seems we should be getting more of it in the next acts. Fingers crossed. Conclusion I currently have 850 h in this game. It’s already a 10/10 in my book, and since it’s still in early access, I’m really looking forward to all the fun that’s still to come. Zuletzt angestoßen am 22.01.2026, 17:05:22
