My PoE 2 feedback

Hi.

I've been playing PoE since 2016 and have thousands of hours in the game, I love the game and I'm having fun with both games.

Here's some stuff I find annoying and would like to see some improvements on. Don't get me wrong, I have PoE 1 and don't want another one, just voicing my opinions here.

Gameplay / Pace

Some slowed‑down mechanics feel tedious rather than challenging.

Ground Effects & Curses

Chilled ground is frustrating and can feel oppressive.
Temporal Chains is especially punishing.
Ground effects often overlap and chain repeatedly.
Many ground effects are hard to see.
Curse reduction nodes on the skill tree feel too far away / hard to access.

Counterplay / Runes

Invoker heavily relies on ES/Evasion runes in body armour due to Spirit scaling.
Rune slots feel locked, leaving little room for curse/ailment mitigation.
Counterplay exists but often isn’t realistically usable due to Spirit requirements.

Gearing / Resistances

Replacing even a single gear piece often breaks resistances and stats.
SSF gearing balance is difficult due to low rune availability.
Rune drops feel too scarce before level 90+.
Would like a system to shift or redistribute resistances (similar to PoE1 Harvest).

Mapping / Endgame Progression

Corrupting T15 waystones to get T16 feels bad, especially since it’s required to reach item levels high enough to obtain level 20 gems. Also searching for the corrupted areas for +1.

Atlas / UI

Navigating the huge Atlas feels awkward; dragging the mouse around is weird and a pain.

Inventory / UI Interactions

When interacting with skill gems, stash, inventory, etc., my inventory constantly open/close when I create gems or whatever. I actually don't know why this is happening.

I feel like I constantly have to press "I" to open it again, and sometimes I don't even know where the gem is ending up. Sometimes in the stash, sometimes in the inventory. (just me?)

Feels weird, jarring, and interrupts the flow of managing items and gems.
