Co-op medalions displayed on mini-map but not in game for pickup

Game doesnt show medalions, but they are displayed on the mini map

yeah this just happened to me and in addition my entire medallion "tab" has completely disappeared(not its not hidden I'm aware of that mechanic) its just flat out broken.
