Get rid of the locking mechanic in the trade.

Just an error putting the price is enough to ruin whole season for someone.

Yeah this has happened to me a few times. They need to increase the time window. It's too short.

The alternative is... People will add things and remove it just to create artificial pricing. Its what they did prior to this system. The first 1,000 of any item was a bot who was never going to sell it.. Trust me.. This is better.

Just make it so the item isn't listed until the price is fully locked. I think it's already enough time as it is now though. If you aren't double checking in the currency selection window and immediately after you enter the price then you don't care enough anyways for more time to matter.
