All spymasters in temple deleted

I played a single temple earlier this morning, finally having gotten it to a decent size, when all of my spymasters (with 1 exception) were removed when I closed.

Last night everything worked fine. I have a screenrecording making sure I locked the ends of my chains. I ran the temple afterward to see if the rooms were invisible, but this was not the case.
