V 0.4 Freezes and Crashses AMD FIX

Thought id share a potential solution that worked for me after trying fk everything that the internet had to offer.

step 1) Downgrade to 25.9.2 version, not the 25.10 as they recommended, it's broken as well. 25.12 AND 25.10 BAD

step 2) Make sure auto download/update is disabled in AMD adren.

step 3) In-game settings reduce the bloom to 25%

There's some sort of Shaders issue.

But i've played now in 4h with minions/comets and 105410 particles and no crashes/freezes.

Let me know if it works for you as well.

I don't have an AMD GPU atm, but very cool of you to share something that works. 👍

I'll point people towards this thread.

I did have problems with 25.12.1 driver at the start of the league. Was forced to play with DX11 which gave some strange upscaling at times.

After the latest hotfix(es), I am able to play in DX12 on 25.12.1 without major issues; barring a few missing/invisible boss death animations. Your mileage may vary.

Fingers crossed this helps. I had issue with the latest driver for ARC Raiders too, and today PoE 2 was hard crashing my PC repeatedly. Rolled back to 25.9.2 and also undervolting slightly to see if it helps, but will also try reducing bloom. Cheers for the help <3

I had to downgrade as well (25.9.2)
With the new version shop doesn't work.
DX12 is bugged but run for awhile until it bugs again. (textures)
Vulkan doesn't work at all.

The only option right now is downgrading drivers.
GGG has not been capable of fixing the issue at all. (may be AMD fault as usual)


Definitive solution: always go with Nvidia.
