Vaal temple exalted bench bug

I cleared a single room in the Vaal temple which had an exalted bench. I placed my ring in to it then hit craft. When I tried to remove the ring it was not responding and dropped me back to the menu. Logged back in and my ring is gone.

You barely drop rings or items for that matter and now you are deleting them with your league mechanics. I don't even want to play anymore. I just lost half my resistances and as already stated you don't drop items for us to even get a reasonable replacement. I have not seen a ring drop in over 10 levels. Any ring at all, except white and blue crap that I would have to upgrade. Then I have to get lucky but you dont drop enough orbs to recraft it so I am stuck.

Do I even bother going through Vaal temples or am I going to lose all my items one by one. Ridiculous
