unable to refund passive points to take a different path, possibly jewel socket related issue
|
Hi all,
I'm trying to change the pathing of my passive tree, as I find that I can get 5 free points as well as an additional jewel by just being more efficient in my route. So in the attached diagram, I first remove 3 points from "temporary remove/add", then I add 3 to "add these" which includes a jewel socket. Now that I have essentially formed a closed box with my passive tree, I can start removing from "remove these", re-add the "temporary remove/add" and allocate the remaining 5 points elsewhere. The issue, is that it won't accept the changes in the end, the refund does not get accepted. I have tried by removing the one jewel ahead of time, that didn't matter. I noticed that Doryani seems to remember my changes, but when I go into my passive tree via the P key, the changes are not there. In Doryani's WIP view, I can't socket jewels into either of the two spots for jewels. I hope this makes sense, and I wonder if this is an edge-case bug that no one has run into before. Are you applying the changes?
First, remove 3 and "add these" - apply - then remove the rest. |

I ended up getting around it by doing multiple not-as-cost-efficient transactions. It seems it gets confused when I temporarily remove the points up top, so I started removing down below, moved them, and added back in.
I still think it is a bug, but I had the gold to afford working around it, and didn't want to wait around for a fix. |
