Command Skills Potentially Causing Crashes

A friend of mine was playing a Disciple of Djinnthings Sorceress. Occasionally we would disconnect if we were too far away from them in the same instance. As long as we were nearby, we would be fine.
Friend got tired of causing disconnects and rerolled, and another friend rerolled into a Tactician focused on the raining arrow command skill.

Same issue happening all over again. If players aren't in roughly 2 screens of range, there is a seemingly rng chance that the use of this command skill we will disconnect.

Thought it had to do with the chilled ground explosions of the first build initially, but now I'm really think it has something to do with command skills as a whole. Did NOT test undead minion command skills, so it could just be the "off-screen" minion command skills from ascendencies.

Edit: It's worth noting the person using the skill will never disconnect because they're always on their own screen.
