Gold disappears

I can't figure out if this is a bug or not, but large amounts of gold are disappearing from my account. I don't die very often and I hardly trade, help me understand where the gold is going ! I lost about 2 million and I don’t understand how it happened, I died from the architect a couple of times and bought something at auction a couple of times and that's it (

There's a sizable gold fee to auction purchases, so idk what else to say. If it's buying stuff for divines or large amounts of divines, it comes at a hefty price
