Please clarify the "T" modifier values

As far as I can tell a lower modifier (e.g. here T2) is better. But this isn't entirely clear to me. Then when items drop "Tier 5" (higher) is better.

These are different tier systems.
If it's in the item name — Unidentified (Tier 2-5), T5 is the best. There's a table here explaining what these tiers do. If it's in the item mods (like in your screenshot), then T1 is the best tier for the mod. |
