crashes 0.4

This might be the most unstable version i've played. 20+ crashes.

anyhow, one specific crash seems to come up quite often.
related to social menu, you open it up, search from a group whatever and click friends. the game freezes and crashes. Same issue on both the latest and previous recommended AMD driver.

What is it, memory leak?

sadly, this 0.4 is currently quite unplayable for me. Too many crashes and yes i've sent the reports to AMD themselves, not sure if there are any crash logs that POE2 provides somewhere.

CPU 9800X3D - X3D boost enabled
GPU 7900XTX 24gig
RAM DDR5 2 stick, 48 gig 5600mhz (XMP disabled)
NVME T705 curical 2tb
MB X870E aorus pro ice - bios v. F8d
windows 11. everything updated to latest version.

CPU temp during gaming reaches a max temp for 68c, GPU temp around 70-80c.

don't really experience any other issues except fps drops if i play native with 1203+12390 effects on the screen. But if i play with FSR on fps never goes below 50.

Seems to be CPU related from looking online, threads freezing etc. oh yeah gotten deadlock messages in a few crashes. There are videos of people having solutions by forcing cores to update themselves after they get locked, or disabling 1-2 cores.. but i shouldn't have to download a program to do this then enable it again when i play other games.

Same for me, I've got to a point where I can crash 2-3 times per map ... for no actual reason and without any error message, is there something to help tracking those crash ... ?

I crashed every 2 hours in 0.3

After the initial leage start for 0.4 I barely crashed, maybe once in 5-6 days

Since the last 2 hotfixes its back to crashing again every 2 hours, seems the client just runs out of memory and dies

same issue my pc 7800x3d 7900gre crashed and shutdown after update driver 25.12.1

same here with an 9800X3D, everytime I do group play and run abyss maps, as soon as I get close to the abyss my cpu spikes to 1000ms+ the game freezes and just instantly crashes to desktop, 5-6x per map

Same. I don’t know if it’s something that was changed recently. I play on Xbox and up until today I had no issues with disconnecting. Now I can’t even make it 2 minutes without crashing. Then having to clear my saved data to try to log back in, then only to be greeted by 2 turning gears and a smoky back ground can’t even log back in without closing the game multiple times clearing reserved space and trying again.
Also every time I clear my cache it immediately fills upon logging back into the game.



Update: As of now completely unplayable can’t make it past the infinite loading screen mentioned above. Sad days 😢

8 times just today...the sound stops and than 3,4 seconds after game freezes so good game but it runs crazyyy baaaaaaaad
