POE2 - Trial of Sekhema: Attacked from nowhere and resurrection boon not triggering.
|
During a two-player run for our fourth ascendancy, I somehow get hit from nowhere when on very low honor and attempting to stay safe near the blood chalice. Something hits and lowers my honor from seemingly offscreen with no indication, and upon death, our Sekhema's Cloak boon (which should have revived me from reaching 0 honor) does not trigger.
I grabbed a screen recording of the occurrence, which can be viewed in the link below and while not visible in the clip, our afflictions were all non-conditionals, only being ones that lowered our max honor, damage and affecting enemy skill speed etc. https://youtu.be/c9xXgmb3f3k If this is not a bug, I would love to know what actually happened here. All party members share Honour. Another player took damage. I don't know about the boon, possibly some interaction in party play.

Death is not a bug, honour is shared across players during trial coop, so most likely your friend got hit and you died.
As for the boon it restores honour (also life) if your life goes below 20% but your hp was clearly full and didnt change, meaning like i said that your friend took damage. |

Thanks for the answers.
I assume you mean honor damage is shared, as we have each have different honor pools (as in different max honor and different current % of that max, etc.). If this is the case then I was not aware of it and I don't think I've ever seen this mentioned or explained. However, as for the boon itself, it was not the "glowing orb boon - The next time you go below 20% of maximum life, restore all life, energy shield, and 50% of honor". While we did have that one as well, the one I'm referring to in the bug report is the "Sekhema's Cloak - Upon reaching 0 honour, revive once with full honour", which never triggered, as none of us had died prior to this point. " Yes the honour dmg is shared to "somehow" prevent what you were doing there, being carried the whole trial without playing it. "Sekhema's Cloak: Upon reaching 0 life revive once with full honour" https://www.poe2wiki.net/wiki/Trial_of_the_Sekhemas#Boons Zuletzt bearbeitet von IILU81II#8410 um 22.12.2025, 22:52:21

" Poe2db and game say "honour" ![]() ![]() Some kind of interaction in party play or an error in the description. |
|
" PoE 2 wiki says life lol Is the last one an in-game screeshot from 0.4? Also found this so the issue is on going since release of that boon or it is a typo from the devs? https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3758201 Zuletzt bearbeitet von IILU81II#8410 um 23.12.2025, 06:06:18

" This is a screenshot from a video by Zentrick#0166. At the end of the video, he shows all the boons. Zuletzt bearbeitet von seaman#4993 um 23.12.2025, 06:04:06

" I appreciate the answers and yes, I understand the intent behind the party-wide honour damage. I was just specifying that I haven't seen this mentioned earlier anywhere in-game. Regarding the "being carried part", we had fought through the entire trial together up to this point. It was only because I was 1 hit away from triggering the revive boon that I opted to try and avoid combat in the chalice room, as the reward was a partial honour restore. I'm fine with mechanics that try and prevent ascendancy boosting but here our decision in-game seems to have been misinformed due to a lack of information of how the honour system works and a possible bug and/or wrongful description regarding the boon itself. I'm not here to vent about the outcome of the trial itself; I can just run it again. I just want to make sure this was seen if there are actual bugs/description errors at play.
