Post Atziri Feedback

Beat Atziri for the first time. I am going to level one more character and be done with the league.
The Good: Druid is fun, I like the 3 kinds and the skills and ascendancies. There is issues with collisions and pushing and sometimes on melee you will just get stuck (not stunned) and die. I finally used the 2 trees this league and saw the power it provides. Lower Mob Density is good and more in line with slower more methodical gameplay and the delirium changes are appreciated, I have a decent machine and previously struggled with juiced maps. I hope the delerium visual changes makes it to POE 1. Builder/Spender mechanics is something I loathe but I think GGG has done a decent job of making it blend with normal gameplay (I was amazon in 0.2 & deadeye in 0.3 and the charges wasn't too bad). I like the idea of a clear skill and a boss skill maybe using the same resource, spamming 1 skill is fun but POE 1 exists. The Bad: Crashes - before this patch I never had an issue with crashes, first week I got LOADS of crashes - this is not an issue now but thankfully. The Vaal Temple, it took too long to build I fought atziri for the first time at 91 due to all the shenanigans. I posted previously that it feels bad and even after finishing it I will likely never interact with it again. I know that loss aversion is a human thing but this was just straight time wasting for the sake of prolonging the life of the mechanic. The fact that you open a temple just to close it again as part of the "strat" to get new tiles doesn't make the dopamine spike. One idea for readability would be put the temple charges in the hover for the waypoint icon on the right e.g. 12/18 when you hover over the Vaal Temple icon. Melee needs some ground effects mitigation -or some advantage over ranged, if it wasn't for the new class being melee I would have rolled a ranged league starter - melee is mostly playable but there are certain situations entirely avoided by ranged while the reverse does not apply, I am looking at you Shroudwalker Degen. Shred would sometimes go the wrong direction and TP me right on top of a hostile ground or a curse. I have had this issue with a lot of melee skills e.g. Stampede in the past. Movement pentalties should not be in the game in the current state, or at least be mitigated by strength. If the game becomes the travel skill whiz party then bring it back but until then take it out. Movement speed is so mandatory on boots it should be an implicit. Too many intances of people mapping with level 16 boots because it offers more MS. Conclusion: I enjoyed some of 0.4 but I think the mechanic is a wash. I imagine with a tree it will have some circumstances that feel better but there wasn't anything here that made me want to choose this over something like Abyss, which I forsee GG having a hard time topping in terms of currency and crafting. Keep up the good work GGG and I look forward to seeing what you do next. Zuletzt angestoßen am 22.12.2025, 13:36:21
