Annihilation from Hayoxi's Fulmination bypass activation time with Kulemak's Dominion

If you are using Kulemak's Dominion to cause Hayoxi's Fulmination to occur at your offering location, it seems that it immediately activates instead of waiting for the 7 second countdown to finish.
This is most likely caused by annihilation being a ground targeted area skill, which independently gets cast at your offering, as it is separate from the curse which triggers it.

I'm writing this bug report just to get confirmation on whether this is a bug, or if it is an intended interaction that we can build around?
