Act 4 – Arastas Island
Quest “Explore the Islands”
NPC completes the dialogue, but doesn't open the church door. Area fully explored, no visible interest.
Solo game, portal already used after attempted fix.
Progression bug – character stuck.

When entering Arastas Island, the character doesn't open the church. I tried several things, but nothing works.

Have you done the other islands first? I'm not sure exactly which ones but there are prerequisites.

This is the last island of Act 4, well, at least the one that appears on the map. The only requirement is "explore the islands in search of half of the weapon," I believe that's it.

Have you witnessed The Hooded One retrieve all three weapon pieces?

I'll check, but it doesn't seem like it.

Looking back at the game, I only have one piece of the weapon. One detail that's bugged is that there's an objective icon on the giant bird map... it appears on the minimap but there's nothing in the game...

The weapon pieces are on Diamora (singing squid), The Prisoner (Solitary Confinement), and the boss in Volcanic Warren on Isle of Kin.

I've been to all those places. Why do they say there's a piece of the weapon on the giant chicken island?But thanks for the tips.

I fixed it by selecting 'Respawn at checkpoint' in the game menu.
