Geonor

This is my opinion, I get it the responses are all going to be full on get good, blah blah blah, your a loser responses.

I played the first two seasons, I skipped the last one. I have enjoyed this game completely. That said, I felt the same way the season before last. Facing Geonor in Act One is absolutely awful. I die, and die, and die over and over again, and I'm sitting here saying to myself should I just quit. I've enjoyed Act One, and Yeah I've died a few times. But facing Geonor over and over again, is jut not fun. I've not felt that way about any other Act boss, but I really find Geonor to just be un-fun and incredibly frustrating.

It's your game, and look I think it's a fun game. But in my opinion, and maybe I am literately the only person, Geonor makes me want to quit. It's not fun, it takes forever and I hate banging my head against the wall.

Once again, it's your game, do as you will. This is a great company, with a great game, but every-time I play it Geonor seriously makes me consider quitting.

If you're dying over and over, don't expect a different result. Do something different. The game plays so utterly different based on what skills you're using/what gear has dropped/how generally skillful you're playing. Go back and farm earlier areas to get better gear or level your skills if you're intent on playing the same failing build -- or try different skills. It's a difficult game, and if you don't enjoy fixing problems on your own builds or just using the meta and not thinking, the game is likely just not for you.
I miss the old Geonor, before they nerfed him and made him stupidly easy.
The key to beating (enjoying?) bosses in the acts is to know what resistances to equip. Raise your cold resistance and Geonor is far easier to beat. Of course, over-leveling a bit or investing in damage helps as well.

Just search for some resistance rings to suit the boss you're going to face next. Check vendors for cheap options every time you level up, and just keep a set of each type of ring in your stash. For Geonor, save a couple Sapphire Rings. They don't even have to be good. Any 2 of them will give you at least +40% cold resistance.
Closed Beta/Alpha Tester back after a 10-year hiatus.
First in the credits!
+levels on your weapon is top priority jus getting a +1 to the levels of your main skills can be a game changer.

Also dont be afraid to ask for help in chat or join a party in the social tab, ppl can be very "get good" but they can also be like "what do you need?" Somtimes you jus gotta ask.

Edit: also watch speedrunners or streamers play to pick up what theyr doing that you aernt barracade usually has super helpful streams where you can ask questions n get help.
