Steadfast resolve not preventing stuns

Just got stun chained by a bunch of blue mobs with stuns - I have steadfast resolve allocated

+1...

I pathed to this with a lot of points so I can play juicy maps - I get chain stunned aaaaallllll the time, this node does literally nothing.

Edit: I use block, but the node doesn't say you can't be light stunned by hits you didn't block, so I still don't get it.
