Talisman's basic attacks are great, other weapons' aren't

The design of the basic attack given from talisman are great: bear gives you rage, wolf ice fragments and wyvern power charge consumption. The three variations synergizes with the class... Why can't the other weapons doesn't have base cool attacks?
For example, the initial staves spells are kinda lame (they could be good for proc ailments). The wands are kinda ok tho. And the crossbow, spear, bow, quarterstaff and mace are too basic and boring. They should bring at least better animations (rolling slam, tempest flurry and rapid assault should be the basic attack animation imo) and maybe some mechanics baked in (like daze, armour break, pierce, ...). true i wish for entire rework of default attack on other weapons.
Im a big fan of a skills like "frenzy barb" which is just default attack getting faster. I wish for -Throw hammer similar to throw spear - but slower, hit harder with stun buildup and nothing weird. Simple skill. - Mace auto-attack to be 3 hit combo while last one is "head crush". Not a slam but single target high dmg hit that target enemy head to crush it making enemy more vulnerable to dmg and stun buildup - Spear throw to be more viable than just for frienzy stacker build. Like.. you throw spear that you need to pull out. Throw spear - spear in enemy - diseangage pulling out spear and making giga bleed stack and trial of blood (dot dmg) when enemy moves.
