Why to the prosthetics get removed after death

The shear amount of grinding spent to get playable prosthetics just to die to literal bullshit and have to refarm all of them over shows how little any of the devs have played the game.

What a waste of time. Thats all that is, a time waste. The least you can do for the player grinding and spending time actively playing your dogshit league mechanic is reward the players with the time spent and keep the prosthetic limbs.

Even if you change that in a future patch I wont interact with it ever again because of the massive time waste that was.

They even could thematically have durability on them, to keep players interacting with the league mechanic, and its not just something for hardcore players.

Like have a special t3 room to recharge the limb or something, like all of this is such low hanging fruit.
Feels like straight ass having like 2 days of farming this game just to get zapped.
I think if they were easy to get it would be fine but they’re gated behind like twenty layers of RNG. I’ve only seen one so far and that was a fluke in campaign.
It was plain to see from the announcement that this feature is doa.

In order to make use of it, u need to play a build that doesn't randomly die in maps or to bosses. So u basically have to play a HC build, but what's the point of it then, if u can't use it for the build u want to play in the first place.

I got a nice 30% evasion limb yesterday and a few hours later I just died during a map. I felt like crap, but I saved the room from getting destroyed, so I thought I might get the bonus back... well I went to the temple again and I got a wopping 8% life recoup this time around. What a waste, I don't even care if I die now.

I think a durability system would have been fine, with the option to repair the limb in a temple room aswell. The system as is right now is just garbage.

They do have durability to them, it's your revives. You ONLY lose them when you fail to revive. If you're running 6 mod maps that means one death, but lower tier ones you have multiple revives.

That's not true, I ran a blue map, had 4 revives left and it got deleted as soon as I clicked "resurrect at checkpoint".

Maybe it's supposed to work with coop revives, but if u click on the button it's gone.

I decided not to bother engaging with it during the announcement video, got better things to do then grind for a minor buff that dissapears when i get 1 shotted from somthing off screen XD
