Attribute Requirements are ruining this game - always the main reason I quit a character
|
I am abandoning yet another character (the most fun one I have ever played) because of the absurd attribute requirments on every little thing in the game.
I am a cold wolf, which is strength and Int but if I want to use Herald of Ice I need DEXTERITY. Just to use basic auras my character need 150 strength, 150 dexterity and 150 intelligence. This is actually very difficult without major investment and I get almost nothing for this investment other than being able to use auras that already have a massive cost built into them. How is Cold a strength/int archetype but healrd of ice is Dexterity? It is so lame and frustrating and makes no sense at all. Why does Eternal rage need 150 Strength? How is 100 Spirit not enough of a cost already? My tree has efficient pathing and so it uses very few travel nodes so I'm screwed by attribute requirements on all my gear and all my gems, it's so boring. Am I actually expected to spend skill points on +5 int nodes that don't lead anywhere? I think attribute requirements should be completely removed from gems, I have no idea what purpose they are meant to serve. Is every single build meant to just play Astramentis? Gems should scale in power with stats, not be gated by them imo. Zuletzt angestoßen am 20.12.2025, 09:27:43

Yes you're expected to get those stats from nodes. Also, most items actually become a bit cheaper with stats on them. Get a belt with dexterity, or rings/amulet with all stats.
I don't know why GGG sticks to this mechanic in particular but stats are /almost/ kinda useless comparatively so it doesn't hurt too much if you allocate them based on gear and skill needs |
