Bug with Lightning Spear Amazon + Cast on Crit + Fulmination

I am a lvl 82 Lightning Spear Amazon with Cast on Crit ( socketed Arc and Thunderstorm plus some support gems) and lvl 15 Fulmination. There is this wierd interaction where the game crashes when a combination of Fulmination + Cast on Crit gets activated all at once during a Lightning Spear attack. It literally crashes the game and closes it. I have thought it was a one off thing but it keeps happening. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?
