Disconnecting to menu when interacting with NPCs/interactables when shape shifted

I'm soft crashing to the main menu very often if I talk to an NPC in my hideout when shapeshifted. This also just happened interacting with the lift in Molten Vault going down to the boss, causing me to lose the map.

The only way I've found to avoid this is to switch to human before interacting with anything which is very annoying.

Hoping this can be fixed before the holidays!
