King of the Mists - 50 shards as melee - Come on GGG

I have always played ranged in this game. King of the Mists phase 3 with all the ground-junk, tornados and frogs was fine.

As melee, this is a nightmare. Come on GGG this is not melee friendly AT ALL. I am lucky to get 2 seconds of attack time on him before a tornado, frog, frozen in place and other ground junk kills me.
