First row skills should not be combo peices they should be stand alone skills that have 1 button potential this way new players are met with somthing familiar as you get deeper in the game skills should gain complexity and leave the 7 button build skills for the top skills so by that time a new player can handle having to generate spend 3 reasources and hit 5+ button in the correct order to blow up a screen this way there is a clear and understandable gradient of skills with somthing for everyone.
