Vaal Temple ate my gear, gone forever?

I put a pair of boots into an Exalted Bench to get a random new modifier and my internet has a disconnect at that moment. I log back in and my boots are nowhere in my inventory, on the ground or in the bench (Unable to access bench anymore). Is a Perfectly rolled pair of boots and a center piece of my build just gone? If they are I'm already done with this season and I just spent money on stash tabs for the first time....Would love a refund.

First time ever posting here, idk what all you need from me.
