Rampage skill feedback

First of all it takes quite some time for skill to start, and there are times when situation changes and you have to cancel it even before it starts. But it still takes huge amount of mana as soon, as you press rampage skill, just for this long animation wind up.
But the most annoying part is, it requires to hold button to control character movement during rampage, and it's almost impossible to find out exact time to release button. If you continue to hold it for too long, as soon as 1st rampage ends, you start 2nd rampage, it takes mana away, but stops pretty much instantly since it was started without any rage.
And the only way to get out of rampage animation is to use dodge, it cannot be cancelled by using other skills, so it's very easy to lock yourself in animation for a few seconds.

Very true, the fact that you have to hold down the button and then the skill ends, but you don't know and then it fires the skill again is dumb.

When the skill completes, require a fresh button press (release and press) before triggering the skill again please.

After playing with Rampage more:
There is quite a lot of desyncs if you run too close to walls/obstacles.
And sometimes you can easily turn 180, while other times character runs away without any control only because you ran into wall or hovered over inaccessible terrain. Pretty much every single death while running rampage was due to lost control over my character.
Such a long starting and ending animations make picking up loot a real hell. Even if you try to stop when something drops, you still run away from this loot and have to run back. Imo, it's animations should be shortened.
Edit: just died in abyss depths cause rampage stuck in wall in last room :/
Rampage cannot run through summoning stones, so in order to damage summoned boss you have to run around them again and again, if boss doesn't want to move away.
Had anybody even tested rampage for more than a few minutes?
