Now that selling items doesn't require you to party up or trade directly then why not make it?

Because SSF is intentionally opting into a harder challenge. Making it easier with suggestions like this defeats the point.
Also because you can just play this way in the existing trade league, and many already do. So there's not even a problem to solve. |
