Realm closing while in atziri temple. Lost item

Had a random instance of my realm closing causing me to log out completely. While i was putting my item in the socketing thing. When i logged back in right away. My temple was closed. And the item is no longer in my inventory. My weapon swaps or chest, if it did a rollback. The temple should always stay open unless its been an extended period of time. Just lost my motivation to play any further cuz i lost an item i spent all on my currency on......
