Serious map layout fatigue

Honestly I don't even mind the campaign itself, but the layouts are just so horrendous. Every map is just a huge sprawling mess with infinity areas that don't matter. The game would unironically be so much better if this was just 1 corridor to the boss with 1 side path to the quest, and maybe 2 or 3 SHORT side paths to a chest.

![]() Like it is just not fun to wander all over this space for nothing, and about 80-90% of the campaign maps are this experience. It has to change or it will break people with new leagues. I've been playing PoE1 almost every league since beta and this is the first time I have had this much campaign fatigue, and it is entirely fixable. A lot of the maps do need to be smaller, but the major issue is that the campaign maps have no direction. Chokepoint usage is minimal at best and everything is just designed to turn the player into a roomba that goes around every edge until it finally finds a goal. It is really bad. Have to agree this rng Atlas Generator doesn't really Work very well, i feel Like i Play the Same 10maps Out of a Pool of 40?

I don't mind this at all, I like to explore. I especially like how almost every zone has an extra fun thing to find like a guaranteed item, abyss or character bonus.
