Ground effects shouldn't apply to wyvern using fire breath
|
Title.
Two main reasons: 1) Obviously, when flying, a wyvern shouldn't be affected by effects on the ground. 2) It's impossible to see where the player character is on the ground while using fire breath. So the only indication that you're standing on fire/poison/chaos/whatever ground effect is when your health suddenly starts plummeting out of nowhere, in which case, it's often too late and you're dead. It's just unfair to have a ground effect affect a player when there's no indication of where the player's 'feet' are while in a flying animation Zuletzt angestoßen am 17.01.2026, 03:10:04

Yup, I agree. I get it may be a bit unbalanced but that's not our fault. It really is very hard to determine exactly where your floor placement is when your hovery an unknown distance above the ground.

Didn't know it does lol
I wonder how did the thought process go. Did they look at that and say it's OK? Zuletzt bearbeitet von ryszek#5266 um 16.01.2026, 23:02:53

" Leap Slam has entered the chat. Oooops, you didn't scale skill speed so you are dead before you hit the ground. |

The breath attack I am pretty sure counts you as grounded even though the animation doesn't make sense with that. You can't even pass through small gaps/move across terrain like some leaping moves like pounce even though your character is visibly flying.
