Severe Latency & Packet Loss for Thai Players in PoE 2 (Request for SEA/TH Gateway)
|
Dear Grinding Gear Games Team,
The Big Picture: The Path of Exile 2 experience for the Thai community is currently compromised by severe connectivity issues. Despite the game's excellent quality, daily latency spikes and packet loss are making gameplay near-impossible for a large portion of the player base in Thailand. Why It Matters: Unplayable State: Players are experiencing "rubber-banding" and freezing (200ms+ spikes), leading to unfair deaths, especially in Hardcore or boss encounters. Community Frustration: Social media groups in Thailand are flooded with reports of these issues daily, causing potential player churn and negative sentiment. The Technical Reality: Most Thai ISPs seem to have poor routing to the current Singapore (SG) or Japan (JP) gateways used for PoE 2. Symptoms: High consistent ping (100-200ms) or frequent packet loss during peak hours (19:00 - 23:00 GMT+7). Comparison: This issue was less prevalent in PoE 1 due to better-optimized routing or local gateway availability. Our Request: Immediate Investigation: Please investigate the routing paths from major Thai ISPs (True, AIS, 3BB) to your SEA servers. Infrastructure Expansion: We strongly request GGG to consider establishing a Dedicated Thailand Gateway or a localized server node. The Thai ARPG community is massive, and a local node would drastically improve stability and retention. Thank you for your dedication to the game. We hope for a swift solution so we can fully enjoy Wraeclast. Best Regards, A Dedicated Exile from Thailand Zuletzt angestoßen am 18.12.2025, 07:07:55
